✠ Join the English Catholic Church ✠

A Home for the FaithfulThe English Catholic Church welcomes all who seek to live the Catholic faith in the English tradition — reverent in worship, orthodox in doctrine, and rooted in the Apostolic faith once delivered to the saints.
Whether you are a clergyman discerning a new jurisdiction, a parish seeking stability and apostolic oversight, or a layperson longing for a faithful, sacramental home, we invite you to walk with us.

We are not building something new.

We are tending the lamp that has never gone out.

Why Join the English Catholic Church?

1. Authentic Apostolic Faith and Succession

Our Bishops stand in historic, valid lines of Apostolic Succession through the Utrecht, Duarte-Costa, and Thục successions — with Orthodox continuity ensuring the sacramental validity of Holy Orders and the Eucharist.

The English Catholic Church preserves the fullness of Catholic faith as received within the English patrimony — Catholic, Apostolic, and undivided.

2. Parish Ownership and Local Autonomy

In accordance with Canon 3 of our Constitution and Canons:

“Member organizations of this Communion shall own their own property.”

Every congregation retains ownership and governance of its property, ministries, and finances under the oversight of its Bishop — never under external control.

3. Stewardship with Integrity

In accordance with Article VII: Support, all member organizations pledge only 1.5% of their annual income to assist in the work of the Communion and the Primate’s Office.

“Individual members are expected to support the work of the Communion with an amount commensurate to 1.5% of their own annual income.”

The English Catholic Church practices transparency, fairness, and compassion, with provisions for parishes in hardship.

4. A Growing Global Communion

The English Catholic Church is a worldwide fellowship of parishes, clergy, and religious communities united in the Apostolic faith.

We now have active partnerships and ministries across more than thirty nations in North and South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Wherever you are, you are not alone.
